Ho my god. Laundry yesterday took forever. Not sure if I talked about it yet, but I did it until like 1 am. It was cuz the drier wasn't drying, and I forgot to clean out the lint. Anywho, the clothes were still wet, so we hung dry it inside our room.
Industrial sized washer.

We had to get creative.

Today's Schedule. It's literally like 8 hours of lectures with a lunch break in between, plus another option Korean lesson afterwards til 9pm. Classes from 9 to 9. Kinda intense, but good.
Tmrw's Schedule
We had Korean lessons after dinner. It was hard, because the teacher spoke like 98% Korean. We learned basic phrases like Hello, my name is Mike. I am Canadian. Nice to meet you. Looking forward to working with you, etc etc. I learned some, but not all of the phrases, so I think it's a good level for me.
Also got my school info, and I'm not sure if I talked about it. Basically I'll get 36 kids in total, grades 1 to 6. I have 4 classes of 6-12 kids each class. Gr 1, Gr 2, Gr 3+4, Gr 5+6. The students get only 1 hour of English per week through a contract teacher, so they are pretty much underpriviledged. I feel pressure to provide them with a better education so they can catch up to the city kids. Learned about lesson planning and semester planning, and it's daunting. How am I suppose to know what kind of objectives to make for my kids? I don't exactly know what level English a kid is suppose to achieve by a certain grade. I guess I can refer to the government English Curriculum.
Place is 40 minutes from the school. The pad looked kinda small from the picture I got in the document. 1.5 hours to Seoul, so basically it means I'll be there every weekend. The schedule had me go to school at 10 and leave at 5, which is not the 3 hours I signed up for... but that might include lesson planning. We'll see.
