August 11th

Not much happened today that was picture worthy. Lectures all day long. We had a Taekwondo class and it was kinda fun. We had a really good lecturer for another lecture. He was a Caucasian man who taught in Korea for 15 years. His lecture was on par of those you see on TED talk. His lesson was on inductive teaching and information gap. Really cool tricks for the classroom. I later had a chat with him, and I found out he was an Econ major who just did the Korean thing to travel, kind of like what I did. But then he got addicted to travelling, and taught in like 9 different countries, and did his Master's in Education. Now he's doing his PhD in Education too, and he's publishing a book next year. I wish I remembered his name. He has one more lecture on Wednesday, and I am very looking forward to it.

Today's dinner was magical. This deep fried chicken though, with a sweet and spicy sauce. This was my third bowl. IT WAS SO GOOD.

This was one of his activities for us. He had us place a piece of paper on top of our head and draw a lake, then 3 trees to the right of the lake, then a house on the left, then a sun on top of the trees, then a square window and rectangle door on the house, and finally a sail boat in the lake. You can see how I did. This activity is to lower the kid's inhibition in the beginning of the class so they are more receptive to instruction. I'm gonna use this technique for my classes too, and other general inhibition inhibitors.
