After I'm gone from this wifi haven, I'm not going to have regular access to internet. It might be a long time before I get internet again. Just so you're warned.

August 17th Jeju Folklore & Natural History Museum

A semi relaxing day today. After breakfast, we did some planning for the trip today. Some people wanted to go to the beach. Some people wanted to go to Maze Land. Still some wanted to go to a museum. We finally decided on Maze Land. Maze land was super far away, and they initially wanted to taxi it, but it would have costed a fortune. Maybe $20 each, one way. So I suggested taking the bus to Jeju city first, and then taxi-ing it. That way we'd spend 2800 Won for the bus and only about 10k Won for the taxi, saving almost half the money. So we did, and we all got off at the terminal. We decided to go for lunch, and after lunch, I went with the Museum group instead of the Maze group. I did so because I didn't really wanna pay $10 x 2 for there and back... and I was tired, so I just wanted an easy day. After the museum, we just bused back, had dinner, and then I went to the gym. I got a pretty good work out. Failed a lot, so that means I am pushing my muscles to the max.

Oh yeah, wanted to go scuba diving, because I got my open water license, but the dudes who run the local diving place didn't pick up my calls. Sigh.

Korean Sweet and Sour Pork. Pretty damn good.

Maze group + Museum group.

Dat is a pretty long oarfish!

Random lava tree thing.

Birds of different feathers, still flock together. Not in real life though. #Truth

August 16th Hiked Halla Mountain and Cheonjiyeon Waterfalls

#Photodump
Today was a pretty good day. Woke up only to find out that the Halla Mountain group cancelled, and instead are going to the beach. I'm like, fk it. I still wanted to go. Found some people to go with. Climbed up it. The girls were a lil slow, but we still made good time. Up and down = 4 hours. Scenery was pretty fking beautiful, in an Asian way. Can't get views like that in Vancouver, that's for sure. That mountain was like something from those ancient Chinese paintings you see. Came back down, and then went to Seogwipo city. Had some crazy super tteobokki thing, I forgot the name of it. It was only for $11. In Vancouver it'd be at least $15-$18. I legit got scared when I saw it, because I had no idea how I'd finish it, but I did.

Then we went to Cheonjiyeon falls. Kinda lame. Was super hot and humid. Sweated so much. After that, we went to the CU and grabbed ice cream. My ice cream was pretty epic. Ice cream, then chocolate, then cookies and cream ice cream inside. Still like Crunky better tho. A lot better.

Road back to where we lived, ate dinner, showered, and played piano. It felt really good playing the piano. It was a grand piano, and it reminded me of home when I played it. For a moment, I forgot I was in Korea. I don't know what I'll do tmrw.
